Meeting Dates and Location

• The next ANSTF meeting will be held January 24 -25, 2024.
• In-Person Participation:  The meeting will be held in the USGS National Center (see info below)
• Remote Participation: A web and/or audio option will also be offered for remote participation. The web link and phone number to join will be sent to the email address used to register for the meeting no later than January 19th.

Meeting Location

• USGS National Center 12201 Sunrise Valley Drive Reston, VA 20192
• Meeting Room: The main meeting will be held in WMA Conference Room 5A217 on the 5^th floor. 
• Parking: Follow signs for the guest parking lot. You will need to show a photo ID at the guard station before accessing the parking area.    
• Building Access: The USGS National Center is a secure Federal building. All visitors will need to check in daily at entrances. 

Lodging

• A block of rooms have been reserved at Sheraton Reston for $189 / night.

• Hotel is a 1.2 mile walk from the USGS National Center, hotel shuttle to/from USGS is available upon request.

Transportation

• Dulles Airport (IAD) is nearest, but National (DCA) and BWI airports also serve the greater metro area.
• Rideshare or Cab services from Dulles to the hotel will run about $30-40 a trip, depending on time of day
• Metrorail now extends to Dulles Airport. Take the silver line from Dulles Airport Metro Station to the Reston Town Center Metro Station. The Hotel is a 1.2 mile walk from the station. The USGS National Center is a 15 min walk from the station – there is a walkway cut-through not shown on Google maps directly between the National Center, connecting to Sunrise Valley Drive. Metro fares cost about $2 per trip.
