To engage a teach-in on the subject of two interrelated international campaigns to take place in the same time period, the National Invasive Species Awareness Week 2022 (on 2/28-3/4) and the U.N. World Wildlife Day 2022 (on 3/3), as an introduction to my presentation titled “Greater Los Angeles — Past, Present, & Future” at the workshop held on Thursday Feb. 24 by the International Training Programs (ITP) of California State University, Long Beach, for its ITP-Korean Visiting Fellows Program.  As an ITP adjunct faculty and specifically an assigned mentor to advise few of these Fellows and a faculty member of workshops for the Fellows Program, the teach-in aims to raise the fellows’ awareness of the significances and calls of both campaigns in the CSULB campus and their actions to spread the campaign messages to their communities and networks.
