Invasive Species Awareness Week (ISAW)
February 28, 2022 @ 8:00 am - March 4, 2022 @ 5:00 pm

Invasive Species Awareness Week (ISAW) is taking place from Monday, February 28 to Friday, March 4, 2022.
Invasive Species Awareness Week (ISAW) is a collaborative initiative that focuses on communicating with
citizens and organizations about invasive species through social media.
You can get involved by liking and sharing/retweeting posts created by participating organizations, or creating your own posts, using the hashtag #InvSpWk during ISAW.
Check out the Invasive Species Awareness Week Campaign Toolkit which contains ready-to-use promotional materials that you can use to help spread the word. Here you will find:
- Information on the campaign’s goals, daily themes, and tips on how you can participate
- Example texts for social media posts
- High-quality images including digital headers, daily theme graphics and an email signature
- Links to other resources including fact sheets, educational resources, webinars, videos, and more!
Together, our actions can help raise awareness about the importance of preventing the spread of invasive species.
The Invasive Species Centre and our partners lead this annual campaign in Canada to help raise awareness about the threat that invasive species pose to our natural heritage. Each year, many organizations support Invasive Species Awareness Week to make it a huge success.
Thank you for taking part in Invasive Species Awareness Week and everything you do to protect our land and water from invasive species!
