To participate as in past years two interrelated international campaigns to take place in the same time period, the National Invasive Species Awareness Week 2022 (on 2/28-3/4) and the U.N. World Wildlife Day 2022 (on 3/3), as conservation planners & scientists, we at California Institute of Environmental Design & Management (CIEDM) will engage a physical yard work to improve the ecological garden at Arcadia EcoHome, Arcadia, California on March 3. We’ll remove weeds & other invasive plant species, care for native & adaptive plants in the yard, and enhance the EcoHome’s features as a Certified Wildlife Habitat and Certified Pollinator Habitat. We’ll then share & spread our work on social networking medias so as to raising public awareness of the nature and its species that are unique locally, the significances and calls of both campaigns.
